Skate aids are available to rent for $10. Guests requiring accommodations are encouraged to contact rink staff directly prior to their visit so we can ensure an enjoyable and accessible skating experience.

The Park’s New Tradition
Holliday Park’s story began during the 1916 centennial celebration of Indiana statehood, when John and Evaline Holliday donated their country estate to the City of Indianapolis, expressing the belief that “the land is singularly suited to be a place for recreation and the study of nature.”
Over 100 years later, it’s safe to say that their vision has been fulfilled. We’re so excited to add the skating rink to serve this mission. This will become an annual holiday tradition. Proceeds from the Ice Rink at Holliday Park will go to the Holliday Park Foundation to allow the park to continue to grow, evolve, and serve the community.

Half-Price Student Night
Students can enjoy half-price skating every Friday from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Couple’s Skate
Every Saturday night, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m., bring your favorite skater for a magical night under the stars! Admission is $25 and includes skating for two and a $10 voucher to the MashCraft Brewing truck.

Learn to play hockey
Discover the thrill of hockey with Our Hockey House’s Free Hockey Basics Class starting on January 8! Space is limited, so reserve your spot now!
Two Sessions Every Thursday Night:
- 5:30 – 6:15 p.m.
- 6:15 – 7:00 p.m.
Skates are provided.
Skating Lessons
Learn to Skate with the Winter Club of Indianapolis! Sessions are offered in December, January, and February with classes meeting Monday evenings and Saturday mornings. Register for a set day and time on Monday or Saturday (see link below for details). Cost per skater ranges from $75-$100 per session.
Each class includes:
- 30 minutes of group instruction, plus 30 minutes of practice
- Complimentary skate rental

Looking for fun ways to stay active this winter? Holliday Park will be hosting two exciting recreational leagues for adults and teens:
CCA Curling League
Experience one of winter’s most unique and social sports – just in time for the 2026 Winter Olympics! Registration details to come; gather your team and join us for friendly competition and plenty of laughs. League play begins Jan. 7.
3-on-3 Pond Hockey
Fast-paced, small-team hockey at its finest. Lace up and bring your crew on Tuesday nights from 8:00-9:30 p.m. for some spirited games under the stars! Registration details coming soon!

Homeschool Skate
The perfect way to wrap up a long week of classes with outdoor exercise and socialized play in beautiful Holliday Park! Students and their families can enjoy half-price skating every Friday morning from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
